When I started out, I didn’t have a group — or even one person — to turn to while I figured it all out. There were no support groups for women CEOs on the fast track, or none I could reach. I was alone on an island: no team, no coach, no mentor, no one to ask for feedback or point me to the good clients and projects. I was making money, but I was drowning.
